RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for shopping at Tipping Naturals, Inc. ("Tipping Naturals," "we," "our," or "us"). We take great pride in our handcrafted natural products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the natural and perishable nature of our products, we have established the following Returns and Refunds Policy. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1 Safety First

All Tipping Naturals products feature tamper-evident safety seals to ensure product integrity and customer safety. Once the safety seal has been broken, we cannot accept the product for return due to health and safety concerns.

2.2 Natural Product Considerations

Our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients with no artificial preservatives. As such:

  • Minor variations in color, scent, and texture between batches are normal and not considered defects
  • Products may react to temperature changes during shipping (softening in high heat or hardening in cold)
  • Products have a limited shelf life compared to mass-produced items with synthetic preservatives

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Eligible Returns

We may accept returns under the following circumstances:

3.1.1 Damaged in Transit

If a product arrives damaged during shipping (with the safety seal intact), we will accept a return provided:

  • You contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • You provide your order number, photos of the damaged product and packaging, and a description of the damage
  • The safety seal remains intact

3.1.2 Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item (with the safety seal intact), we will accept a return provided:

  • You contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • You provide your order number, photos of the incorrect item received, and details of what you ordered versus what you received
  • The safety seal remains intact

3.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Products with broken or missing safety seals
  • Products that have been opened, used, or altered in any way
  • Products not in their original packaging
  • Products purchased more than 14 days prior
  • Products marked as final sale or clearance

4. RETURN PROCESS

4.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate an eligible return:

  1. Contact our customer service team at office@tippingnaturals.com or 760-730-2744 within 48 hours of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Include clear photos of the product (showing the intact safety seal) and any damage, if applicable
  4. Wait for a return authorization and instructions before sending anything back

4.2 Return Authorization

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

4.3 Return Shipping

For eligible returns:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or product damaged in transit)
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • You assume the risk of loss during return shipment
  • The product must be properly packaged to prevent damage during return shipping

4.4 Return Inspection

All returns are subject to inspection before a refund or replacement is issued. Returns must meet the following conditions:

  • Product must be in its original packaging
  • Safety seal must be intact and undamaged
  • Product must be in the exact condition it was shipped in
  • Original receipt or proof of purchase must be included

5. REFUNDS

5.1 Refund Processing

For approved returns, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refunds typically process within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

5.2 Refund Amount

The refund amount will include:

  • The purchase price of the returned product(s)
  • The original shipping cost (only if the return is due to our error)

The refund amount will not include:

  • Return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)
  • Gift packaging or other add-on services
  • Any promotional discounts applied to the original order

5.3 Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card purchases will be refunded to the same card
  • Shop Pay, PayPal, or other payment services will be refunded to the same account
  • Gift card purchases will be refunded as store credit

5.4 Partial Refunds

We may issue partial refunds at our discretion for:

  • Returns without original packaging (but with intact safety seal)
  • Late returns (outside the 48-hour notification window but within 14 days)
  • Products on sale or discounted items

6. EXCHANGES

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item:

  1. Return the eligible unused item following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired item

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

7.1 Damaged During Shipping

If your product arrives damaged during shipping:

  1. Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product before opening
  2. Contact us at office@tippingnaturals.com within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Include your order number and photos of the damage
  4. We will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or refund

7.2 Manufacturing Defects

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect (with the safety seal intact):

  1. Take clear photos showing the defect
  2. Contact us at office@tippingnaturals.com within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Include your order number and photos of the defect
  4. We will evaluate the claim and may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion

8. TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS

8.1 Natural Melting and Solidification

Our natural products may soften or melt during shipping in hot weather conditions, and then re-solidify upon reaching a cooler environment. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect the quality, efficacy, or safety of the product.

If your product arrives softened or melted:

  1. Place it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for 24-48 hours
  2. Allow it to naturally re-solidify (do not place in refrigerator or freezer)
  3. Once solidified, the product should retain its full efficacy

Natural melting and re-solidification of products during shipping is not considered a defect and is not eligible for return.

8.2 Temperature-Related Product Issues

If after allowing the product to resolidify for 48 hours, you notice:

  • The product has separated and will not re-combine
  • The product has an unusual odor not typical of the natural scent
  • The product shows signs of contamination

9. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

9.1 Pre-Shipment Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order that has not yet shipped by contacting us immediately at office@tippingnaturals.com or 760-730-2744. While we process orders quickly, we will make every effort to accommodate cancellation requests.

9.2 Cancellation Eligibility

Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled and are subject to our standard return policy.

10. ALLERGIC REACTIONS AND SKIN SENSITIVITIES

10.1 Patch Testing

Due to the natural ingredients in our products, we strongly recommend that all customers conduct a patch test before full application of any product. We are not responsible for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities resulting from the use of our products.

10.2 Adverse Reactions

If you experience an adverse reaction to one of our products:

  1. Discontinue use immediately
  2. Seek medical attention if necessary
  3. Contact us with details of your reaction

While we do not accept returns on opened products, we take adverse reactions seriously and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

11. GIFT RETURNS

11.1 Gift Receipt

If you received an item as a gift and have a gift receipt, you may return the unopened item with the intact safety seal within 14 days of the purchase date. Returns with gift receipts will be issued as store credit at the price paid by the gift giver.

11.2 No Gift Receipt

We cannot process returns or exchanges for gifts without a gift receipt or order number.

12. SHOPIFY INTEGRATION

12.1 Return Requests Through Shopify

If your purchase was made through our Shopify store, you may initiate the return process by:

  1. Logging into your account at www.tippingnaturals.com
  2. Navigating to your order history
  3. Selecting the order containing the item you wish to return
  4. Clicking "Request Return" and following the prompts

12.2 Order Status Updates

Return status updates will be communicated through the email address associated with your order. You can also check the status of your return by logging into your account on our website.
